50 New Children Need Sponsors!
We are excited to announce that we have identified 50 new children for individual sponsorships. The children are from Gindo Town, in the Amaya Region, and are enrolled in the BEKA program and Akiki Kelete's, LIGA School, Addis Ababa. We are excited to be able to match a child to your family.
Every month you can make a difference in the life of a child in the Kid's Hope Ethiopia program, PATH center, LiGA school or BEKA project.
When you sponsor a child through Canadian Humanitarian your contribution is combined with those from other sponsors to support the project your child is enrolled in as well as similar projects. This ensures that children do not have to wait for a sponsor to join the project. Your funds not only greatly benefit your sponsored child, but your child's family, the center they attend, and their community.
Through regular updates and correspondence with your sponsor child you will witness the impact of your support. You will also be able to develop a special relationship with your sponsor child through letters and drawings and watch them succeed with your assistance.
Child sponsorship is a valuable way to make a dramatic and lasting difference in the life of a child caught in the cycle of poverty. Canadian Humanitarian offers three levels of child sponsorship:
Development Sponsorship: $35/month or $420/year.
Development Sponsorship provides the basic necessities for the child within the program including educational fees, school uniform, tutoring, extra-curricular clubs and activities, and one hot meal per day.
Growth Sponsorship: $50/month or $600/year.
Growth Sponsorship provides all of the benefits of Development Sponsorship plus additional support to our programs for materials, program expansion, and training opportunities for guardians.
Strategic Sponsorship: $75/month or $900/year.
Strategic Sponsorship provides all the benefits of Growth Sponsorship plus contributes to long-term development by supporting the sustainable investment initiatives of Canadian Humanitarian and our Ethiopian partners.
All sponsorship levels include:
- A personal match to a child in Ethiopia
- Two updates about the child per year
- An updated photo every year
- An opportunity to correspond with the child throughout the year
